About Me

I am currently a graduate student at Columbia University. My research interest is in Machine Vision, applying Machine Learning algorithms to address multitude of problems in Computer Vision. I am especially interested in learning and recognizing visual object categories, and scalable methods for content-based retrieval and visual search. Before moving to New York, I worked as a Automotive Vision Software Engineer at Analog Devices, Bangalore, India. I developed real-time vision-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) applications with focus on functional safety.

I graduated from NIT Tiruchirappalli [+] with a Bachelor of Technology (Honors) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in May, 2011. During the course of my undergraduate study and professional career, I have had the opportunity to interact with some of the best minds from various parts of the world.

On this website, you will find information about the projects that I have worked on, the courses that I have undertaken and my other peripheral interests.
